OVERVIEW

 

The 3MO FTX 6 Speed Transaxle Sequential Gearbox has been designed to fit saloon or prototype cars using front or mid mounted longitudinal engine mountings.

These versatile 3MO Sequential Transmissions have a wide range of 35 gear ratios and 3 constant drive ratio options to ensure there's a right ratio for every situation. WIth its 230mm / 9" crown wheel; its robust and built to handle grueling conditions. The Sequential Transaxle Transmission is designed to accomodate 8000 Nm / 5900 lb-ft on the differential line so around 800 Nm / 590 lb-ft of engine torque depending on the gear ratios chosen.

The 3MO FTX gearbox has 3 Dog Ring inspection ports to save maintenance time and is fitted with a TFJ self locking differentrial  where the preload can be adjusted without removal from the gearbox.

NOTES

 

  • The gearbox is compatible with OEM 41 spline output flanges from Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper
  • A minimum 0.7" master cylinder can be installed on your original clutch pedal.
  • There is no slave cylinder stop, so a pedal mechanical stop is necessary.
  • Motul HD 85W-140 Mineral or Motul 75W-140 Gear Comp Synthetic are the correct lubricants for this gearbox operating at 95-110°C or 203-230°F.
  • Oil Capacity is 1.5L excluding lines and cooler
